On the eve of ICECCE 2019, IEEE Bangladesh Section along with IEEE CUET Women in Engineering Affinity Group Student Branch arranged a technical session based on the theme ‘Leveraging Technology for Humanity through IEEE Engagement’ on 8th February 2019 at Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
Professor, Dr. Celia Shahnaz, Chair, IEEE Bangladesh Section was the key speaker of the session. A small promotion of TENSYMP IEEE Region 10 Symposium has been conducted by Dr. Shahnaz which will be hosted by IEEE BDS in 2020. Dr. Shahnaz discussed about the benefits of IEEE Engagement in different sectors like IEEE Women in Engineering. IEEE technical Societies, IEEE Conferences, Global & Local Competitions etc. Later a video of IEEE WIE BDS Journey and achievement was showcased. Shimon Mehzabeen, Chairperson IEEE CUET WIE AG SB concluded the session extending her warm gratitude to Dr. Celia Shahnaz for conducting the session and she also encouraged the authors and participants of the conference to take IEEE membership for availing all the profound opportunities.
