CELEBRATING WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On 15th February 2016, IEEE JU Student Branch organized a technical seminar entitled “Technical Seminar: U.S. admission process, tips on applications, tests, scholarship and funding opportunity” at Room no: 232, IIT Building, Jahangirnagar University (JU). With 43 participants, the seminar aimed to introduce the students to admission process in USA.
Branch Counselor Zamshed Iqbal Chowdhury, Lecturer, Institute of Information Technology, Jahangirnagar University, with an inspirational speech, initiated the Event. Ms. Atifa Amina, EducationUSA outreach counselor, Edward M. Kennedy Center (EMK Center) for Public Service and the Arts went onto demonstrates the agenda of admission process in USA. He showed history of such process, Different types of scholarship procedures, funding opportunity and managing professors.
The event was concluded by Mr. Zamshed Iqbal Chowdhury, Lecturer, Institute of Information Technology, Jahangirnagar University & Counselor, IEEE JU student branch; presenting the Speaker with a token of appreciation from IEEE JU student branch. Dr. M. Shamim Kaiser, Associate Professor, Jahangirnagar University, Dr. Mohammad Abu Yousuf, Assistant Professor, Jahangirnagar University graced the event with their presence.
