IEEE Bangladesh Section Appreciation and Award Ceremony 2024
The IEEE Bangladesh Section (BDS) organized the Student Branch (SB) Chairs’ Summit 2024 to bring together student leaders from different institutions to discuss their activities, future plans, and requirements. The event aimed to foster collaboration among IEEE student branches and set strategic milestones for the section’s growth and impact.
The summit commenced with a keynote speech by Prof. Celia Shahnaz, 2023-24 IEEE WIE Committee Chair. The speaker highlighted the importance of student branches in fostering innovation, professional development, and networking among students.
The main segment of the event featured 3-minute presentations by student branch representatives. Each presentation consisted of three key aspects:
- Activities – Highlights of events, workshops, and initiatives conducted by the respective student branches.
- Future Plans – Vision and upcoming projects aimed at enhancing student engagement and technical excellence.
- Requirements – Key support needed from IEEE Bangladesh Section to achieve future goals.
These presentations facilitated a knowledge-sharing platform and encouraged collaboration among student branches to work towards common objectives.
