I am willing to be the publicity coordinator of IEEE Bangladesh Section (BDS) Executive Committee 2019. I want present IEEE activities and benefits through print and electronic media so that all university of Bangladesh can realize the benefit of membership of IEEE. Will take initiative using print and electronic media so that University have Electrical and Electronic Engineering or relevant department open IEEE student branch. Will explain the benefit of IEEE membership to improve the technical and presentation skill and development of innovation power.
1st Choice Qualification relevant to the applied post (500 Words)
I was the course coordinator of undergraduate and post graduate program of department of EEE of DUET, Gazipur. As a coordinator I coordinate the program for students and teachers. I have taken initiative to improve the course curriculum and teaching learning methods. I was the Secretary of Consultancy Research and Testing Services (CRTS) of EEE department of DUET. As a secretary of CRTS, I published the brushier of CRTS of EEE department, I coordinate the whole CRTS process for clients and faculties.
I was the president of Dhaka university of Engineering & Technology Teacher’s Association (DUETTA) 2017-18 tenure. As a president I have taken initiative to impro the facilities of teachers community of DUET. I am the advisor of Vice-Chancellor (Electrical and Electronic) of DUET. As a advisor I take care of all Electrical and Electronic activities. I have designed the sub-station and others electrical system of DUET. I am currently the member of many academics committee of DUET and others universities. With all my experience I will try all my best to serve IEEE Bangladesh section if I am selected as a Publicity Coordinator of this branch.
Contribution to IEEE Bangladesh Section (500 words)
As a member of IEEE, I have make a lot of contribution for Bangladesh section. I am working for IEEE since 2006 as a reviewer. I have reviewed many papers for IEEE co-sponsored conferences. This year (2018) I have reviewed nearly 40 papers of 4 IEEE technically co-sponsored conferences. I was the session chair of two conferences. I was track chair of one IEEE conference. I have taken the initiative to open the IEEE student branch at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur. After take the responsibilities of the department as a head, I have taken many initiatives to promote the activities of IEEE at DUET. I have motivated my students and show them the benefits of student membership of IEEE, as a result there are many student members of IEEE at DUET. With my support and inspiration, the student branch of DUET organizes several seminars, workshops and training program under. I have conducted a technical session at American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB) as a speaker organized by AIUB IEEE student branch. I have taken initiative to add new members and renew the membership of old members of my department and faculties. I have taken initiative to organize the first international conference technically co-sponsored by IEEE of titled “International Conference on Advancement of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (ICAEEE)” at DUET. I was the organizing chair of ICAEEE. I have successfully completed the ICAEEE with the cooperation of IEEE Bangladesh section and my team. I have invited the honorable chair of IEEE Bangladesh section at DUET to promote the IEEE activities at DUET. Also the IEEE team of Bangladesh section have visited DUET and explain the activities and benefits of memberships. During our conference I have invited many members of IEEE Bangladesh section as a session chair. I have participated many program of IEEE Bangladesh section such a IEEE program of conference organizers and contributed to strengthen the activities of IEEE Bangladesh section. It is my immense pleasure if I get the opportunity to work for IEEE Bangladesh section.

I have been associate with the IEEE since 2014. At that time I was a Doctoral student at the University of Dhaka, and I was with the student branch of the university. From the first day with the IEEE, I tried to help the organization to grow through various activities. I like to spread the activities from the very root level to the pick point among the research minded technology people who work in line of the IEEE.I always believe IEEE has the opportunities to get all branches of engineering, technology and science under the same flag. I believe that it is not the Information technology only rather it is collaborating with Business and Arts also. Besides, all those research people and associates are very important factor in development of IEEE. They help IEEE with their expertise, their contribution towards the development of the IEEE and, most importantly, finally they help to grow themselves with a better vision.

I have been an active participator since my first day from 2014. I have been contributing to the IEEE in various ways. I have been a regular reviewer of various IEEE sponsored conferences and journals. Despite reviewing, I have participated with the IEEE student branch committee of the University of Dhaka in the various functionalities and arranged programs under the banner of IEEE. To me, the IEEE is a like a platform that helps to grow with all of our contributions. I am sure that I shall be able to contribute to connect people if I am selected for the applied post.
