I was student member of IEEE for 2 years (during which, served as branch chair for 1 year). Also, professional member as 1 year.
Contribution to IEEE Bangladesh Section (500 words)
Revived the student branch from a hibernation state in BUET. The effort had a ong lasting effect among all the future batches of EEE, BUET in terms of technical events. Organized 3 technical talks (Dr. Ziaur Rahman Khan; Mohammad Asif aman; Dr. Sayeef Salahuddin). Organized 3 industrial tours (Energypac factory; Atomic Energy Research Establishment (2 times)). Organized whole day event of ‘Project Show and Quiz Contest’.

As a professional coordinator of IEEE Bangladesh Section, I will focus on improving professional development of IEEE members in Bangladesh through workshop, training program, education. IEEE BDS is to promote professional interests of its members as well as provide a mechanism for communicating members’ views on their professional needs.I, as a member of IEEE BDS, will cooperate with other committees to support activities to promote professional awareness. Moreover, we will encourage provision of member services, mainly in the form of increased economic benefits, professional stature, and employment security for engineers
